Kayla Robbins, LMT

Specializes in: localized areas, Rolfing, myofascial release

Meet Kayla - raised in New England, Kayla moved to the United Kingdom after high school, earning two masters degrees in philosophical theology at the Universities of Edinburgh and Cambridge respectively. There, her research interests were compelled by questions of the meaning we ascribe to our experiences of pain and the concomitant dialectical relationship between love and suffering that arises therein. These questions are what drove Kayla to re-train in bodywork, where she can continue to pursue such questions - this time with her hands.

Here at Mend, she brings to the table unique specialisations in Rolfing, structural integration, and myofascial therapy with the aim of amelioration of trauma; emotional, physical, and spiritual. Kayla believes in the extraordinary potency of human touch in the expanded possibilization of encountering, understanding, and healing that which is wounded within us. After all, what could be more sacramental than flesh on flesh?
